Dragonfly Van Gogh stained glass earrings

These Van Gogh stained glass dragonfly earrings are a beautiful example of the rich, intense color of this amazing opaque specialty stained glass. Hand cut and ground, they are 2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide and are accented with silver dragonflies.
 
Van Gogh stained glass is reminiscent of crushed velvet under glass, with incredible color intensity and texture. You can see how the color shifts and changes as the light changes. A layer of thick, specialized glue is applied to the surface, and as the glue dries, it pulls up the surface of the glass, physically etching the glass and resulting in the beautiful frosty, feathery patterns you see in the glass. The amazing color comes from automobile paint. We hand cut, grind and create the finished piece using our own specialized process.
